September has been a big month at Jester Creative, with the launch of two new web projects. First, we have developed a site for students interested in careers in health care in the state of Arizona. Part of the MyHealthCareer.net web site, the Online Career Path generator allows students to input some basic information such as their name, level of education and location, and the tool provides them with a printable document that includes a customized path to help them meet their career goals. Our second project is an online e-Learning portal, created for the Aboriginal Financial Officer's Association. This dynamic site, located at www.afoalearning.ca, includes an interactive course catalogue, and a secure login area that allows students to complete online courses to become certified as Aboriginal Financial Officers, as well as take other professional development training. The site includes interactive activities such as crossword puzzles and word matching, quizzes and exams, online chat functions and more. Instructors are also able to manage all student grades through the portal.

Things are gearing up at Jester Creative these days, as Season 2 of our popular TV series, “The House Healers” begins production. This season promises to be action packed as The House Healers take on multiple projects.
After the sheer exhaustion of beautifying The Grove, a dilapidated 105 year old house in Season 1, the construction crew deserves a break. Jen decides what better way to reward the crew for a job well done than to send them up to her new cottage to spend a few weeks relaxing in the sun…well, and doing a few quick fix renovations while they are at it. All is not as it seems at the cottage however, as the crew starts demolition they realized their fun in the sun isn’t going to be all it’s cracked up to be.
The Healers’ next projects will be even more exciting, as they tackle a fix up for a friend who is just starting out in home ownership, and maybe even get involved in overhauling a local restaurant.

Jester Creative Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of our spectacular new web site. The new site has a slick new graphical interface and is designed to highlight the many diverse projects we are working on, which include a variety of television shows and web projects.
We are also launching our new company blog, where we will highlight industry trends and tips on integrating new media into your projects. Contributors to our blog will include our video experts, design experts and occasional guest posts from our partners.
The new site was created by Dustin Or, with assistance from Simon Jones and Dennis Ngo. The three are Algonquin College students in the Interactive Multimedia Developer program, and this web site is one of the many projects they are involved in during their 2 month internship with us. Jester Creative Inc. is currently seeking video content for a new web-based media network we are launching later this year. We are looking for short films, documentaries, one-off programs, webisodes and series in a variety of genres.
If you are looking to get some great exposure for your latest video project, you can submit your projects for consideration the following ways:
Mail a DVD to Jester Creative Inc., 180 Preston Street, Ottawa, ON K1R 7P9 Attn: Web Network.
Email a link to your video online to production@jestercreative.com with the words “Web Network Submission” in the subject line.
Please include a brief synopsis of your project, and your contact information including your phone number, email address your web site URL if you have one. All submissions will be acknowledged and we will be in contact with you if your video is accepted.

The House Healers, Jester Creative Inc.’s reno-reality show, has wrapped production for season 1, with a successful run on Rogers Television in Ottawa. The show is gaining popularity, and over the next several months we will be exploring more avenues to bring The House Healers series to a wider audience.
Coming soon, we’ll be launching a fully interactive web site for the show, where viewers will be able to watch episodes and get more behind-the-scenes info about the show, and its cast and crew.
Season 2 of The House Healers is in production now, watch for it on a TV screen near you!
